Since 2016, we spreading the French language and culture in an alternative way. The initial aim was to offer a more effective and less boring way of learning French as a foreign language.
At the same time, we organized a large number of meetings, creative workshops and conferences in order to disseminate lesser-known and more subtle aspects of French culture, often reduced to stereotypes linked to gastronomy or fashion. On our YouTube channelHere you'll find our conferences and webinars on foreign language teaching.
This adventure has allowed us first to satisfy a large number of learners, but also to develop collaborations with renowned international structures and institutions in the educational, socio-cultural, and scientific fields.
Building on this experience, it is in a French-speaking context, on the shores of Lake Geneva, that LQF opens a new branch in 2024 and offers new services adapted to an audience with very different needs and expectations
One of our priorities in teaching FLE (French as a Foreign Language) is the development of literacy, which aligns with the objectives of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
We adopt the definition of literacy from the Government of Alberta (Canada), which states that literacy is: "the ability, confidence and willingness to engage with language to acquire, construct and communicate meaning in all aspects of daily living.'"
It is within this educational framework focused on integrating learners into French-speaking environments that we wish to contribute to a dialogue of cultures aimed at enrichment, tolerance, creativity, inclusivity, and the development of critical thinking.
Our relentless quest for improvement and contact with the world of research has led us to put set up a high-performance teaching system based on innovative tools.
That's why, in our courses, we live chat onlywhether face-to-face or online. It's also the best choice for encourage social interaction.
Our goal is to develop in the learner a whole network of linguistic and cultural skills so that they can: Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, Understand the cultural codes and references of the surrounding target societies (Swiss and French), Integrate and be valued in French-speaking environments (academic, professional, family)
